Lourdes Font is an Argentinian-Spanish Ballet Dancer, Ballet Mistress, Choreologist, Entrepreneur, and Opera Lover with over 20 years of experience in the Performing Arts Industry. Her career spans performance, choreography, artistic direction, and cultural entrepreneurship, always driven by her passion for dance and movement.
She trained and became a professional dancer at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of the most prestigious ballet institutions in the world. She later danced with the Ballet Estable del Teatro Colón, solidifying her foundation in classical and neoclassical ballet at the highest level.
Lourdes holds a Master’s degree in Movement Notation (Benesh Notation) from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) (2012-2014), making her a Choreologist, an expert in preserving, interpreting, and staging choreography with precision and artistry.
Her career as a Ballet Mistress includes working with renowned companies such as Ballet de Monterrey and Ballet de la Provincia de Salta, where she coached dancers, staged productions, and refined performances. In Salta, she also served as Assistant to the General Director of the Ballet, contributing to both artistic and administrative management. Today, she continues her dedication to ballet as a guest teacher for major ballet companies and schools in Mexico and Latin America and as a juror for major ballet competitions in Mexico.
Beyond the stage, Lourdes is an entrepreneur who manages her own travel company for young women, offering curated and unique experiences around the world in an environment of respect and family values. Her ability to merge artistry with business acumen reflects her dedication to fostering cultural enrichment and personal growth.
She also worked as a Customer Success Manager at OperaBase, the global reference for performing arts, where she played a key role in connecting artists, companies, and audiences through digital innovation. This experience allowed her to bridge the gap between technology and the performing arts, reinforcing her deep understanding of the industry from both a creative and business perspective.
